Your Perfect Getaway ~ Hawley Place B&B

Come and feel the magic of this gorgeous Victorian replica B&B home with all of the modern conveniences and comforts.

Be pampered in one of our newly-updated spacious and well-appointed guest rooms each with private en-suites. Relax and enjoy our home as if it was your own. Whether you want to take a walk and hike the Holland Creek trail, see our historic Ladysmith area or simply enjoy our porch rockers and gardens. There is something for everyone!

Ladysmith is a heritage seaside town with many ocean, beach and island activities including great marinas in our protected harbour (warmest water north of San Francisco), hiking trails, wineries and golf courses. All close by.

When visiting central Vancouver Island, live theatres such as Ladysmith Little Theatre, Chemainus Theatre or the Cowichan Theatre offer an excellent variety of performances from professional to local theatre groups. We have some excellent local restaurants, pubs & cafes such as The Fox and Hound Pub, Maya Norte Restaurant. Also, it’s  just a short drive to the Crow and Gate English pub and The Mahle House for a great dining experience.

We are a good midway stop between Victoria and Tofino, as well many easy day trips can also be made from here.

We look forward to your stay.

Pretty much everything one can ask for in a Bed and Breakfast

Dwayne and Mandy are the ultimate hosts. Without being intrusive, they are sure to inquire and meet all of your needs. The house is extremely comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The fixtures have been updated. The bedroom is not “over the top” decadent but it has a sitting area, chest, comfortable bed, reasonable bathroom, and access to a full refrigerator, ice, DVD collection, etc. Wi FI was fine. There is a pleasant sitting area downstairs with options of a bar and wine. The breakfast included hot home made bread, hot baked egg options and a delightful granola and yogurt option. The location is a great jumping off point to explore the Cowichan Valley or really any of southern Vancouver Island. I can not recommend this lovely spot more highly.
